  This document provides all the necessary requirements and recommendations for the majority of installations.

• Londeck Manual

  This document is intended for exterior building installations of the Londeck product line.

Checklists

Below are some helpful checklists that may be used by installers when purchasing Lonseal products for their installation.

• Commercial Interiors Installer's Checklist

  This document is for use with interior installations, including elevators and fixtures.

• Londeck Installer's Checklist

  This document is for use with all exterior Londeck installations. If Londeck is being installed as an interior flooring, please refer to the Commercial Interiors Installer's Checklist above.

• Specialty Installer's Checklist

  This document is for installations that are not typical, commercial interior installations, such as temporary installs, raised panel systems, or vehicles.

Guides

Lonseal flooring may be installed in a variety of settings, from healthcare and gymnasiums to aircraft and boats. Special installation instructions for these types of applications, including product related instructions, are below. They are intended to be a supplement to the Interior Flooring Manual above.

• Aircraft

  For use with all aircraft installations (airplanes, helicopters, etc.).

• Elevator

  For use with all installations in passenger elevators.

• Exhibits & Show Floors

  For use with temporary or short-term installations.

• Fitness Flooring

  For use with Lonseal's fitness flooring (Loncourt I, Loncourt UV, Lonwood Performa, and Lonwood with Foam). This guide also addresses installations that will use rolling bleachers or game line paints.

• Fixtures

  For use with all cabinet, counter, display, or fixture installations.

• Flash Coving

  For use when flash coving Lonseal flooring.

• Hot Yoga Studio

  For use when installing in hot yoga studios.

• Lonmat

  For use with all Lonmat installations in marine or naval vessels.

• Lonsafe

  For use when installing Lonseal flooring with the Lonsafe underlayment.

• Marine

  For use with all marine installations (excludes Lonmat, which should use the guide above).

• Patient Room

  For use in all healthcare patient room installations, where patient beds are expected. This guide should also be used in settings where heavy point loads are expected, such as diagnositc equipment.

• Stairs

  For use with all interior stair installations.

• Vehicle

  For use with all ground vehicle installations, including RVs, trailers, and mobile command centers.

• Wood Grain Patterns

  For use with all wood grain patterned products.

Maintenance Guides

The guides below provide the necessary requirements and recommendations for use with Lonseal flooring. For the Londeck product line, this information only applies to fully interior installations. For all other Londeck installations, follow the maintenance information in the Londeck Manual.

• Unfinished Flooring

  This document is used for any Lonseal flooring without a factory-applied finish.

• Topseal

  This document is used for any Lonseal flooring with Topseal, Lonseal's factory-applied urethane finish.

• High Gloss Finish

  This document is used for any Lonseal flooring with a high gloss, factory-applied urethane finish. Products using this guide will have "UV" at the end of their product name (e.g. Loncourt UV or Lonstage UV).

Recommended Maintenance Products

If you are looking for a CSI 3-Part Specification for use in contract documents, please contact Lonseal's Technical Department. When contacting, please include the name and type of project, along with the flooring being used in order to better assist you.

CSI section 09 65 13.23 Vinyl Sheet Flooring is available for all interior installations, and CSI section 07 18 13 Pedestrian Traffic Coatings is available for exterior Londeck installations.

Adhesives

• #180 DeckHold Adhesive [ TDS | SDS ]

  For use with exterior, building installations of Londeck only.

• #400 Contact Adhesive [ TDS | SDS ]

  For use in all non-horizontal installations of Lonseal flooring or where instant bond is desired.

• #650 Two-Component, Solvent Free Epoxy Adhesive [ TDS | SDS ]

  For use in all installations where extreme conditions will exist after installation.

• #813 Sheet Vinyl Adhesive [ TDS | SDS ]

  For use with fully interior, building installations of Lonseal flooring.

Seam Treatments

• Lonsealer [ TDS | SDS ]

  For use with fully interior, building installations of Lonseal flooring, as an alternative to heat welding.

• Welding Thread [ TDS | SDS ]

  For heat welding seams of Lonseal flooring.

Tapes

• Double Face Tape (DFT) [ TDS | SDS ]

  For use in fully interior, building installations. Required when using Lonsealer or when heat welding less than 24 hours after installation is necessary.

• Lontape [ TDS | SDS ]

  For use in all installations of Lonseal flooring.

• Show Tape [ TDS | SDS ]

  For use in all installations of Lonseal flooring.

Trims

• Lonmarine® Trim [ TDS | SDS ]

  For use with Lonseal's marine flooring.
